In april, thousands of people are expected to gather in Chile’s central valley to exchange news from more than 12 prestigious and award-winning national wineries.

A festival of aromas, flavors and colors is what can be experienced next april, in central Chile’s Casablanca valley, when the new 2024 Harvest Festival takes place.

For two entire days, in a bucolic open-air space surrounded by nature, more than 12 outstanding and award-winning wineries will present their most emblematic wines. This event will be visited by thousands of people who will also participate in eagerly awaited activities such as grape-stomping, blind tastings, guided tours and a first-class art show.

To the delight of those who attend this annual event (organized by the Casablanca Valley Association of Wine Entrepreneurs and the Municipalities of Casablanca and Valparaíso), there will also be a sparkling wine bar, as well as another premium wine bar, in addition to the stands of each of the participating vineyards.

At this party, which incurs no cost to the community, gastronomic stands will be installed with a wide variety of local products, crafts, breweries and children’s entertainment.

The previous version of the Harvest Festival, which had as its hallmark the recovery of economic activity after the Covid-19 pandemic, had the participation of prominent vineyards from Mendoza, Argentina, some of which presented emblematic strains from that area, including Malbec, Cabernet Franc and Bonarda. In addition, there was a tasting of a selection of signature vineyards from the valleys of Tupungato, Luján de Cuyo, Uco and Maipú, among other areas of the trans-Andean province.

Casablanca seeks to be the first sustainable valley in Chile, for which the Casablanca Valley Vineyard Association is tirelessly working to this end.
