Architect Eliana Bormida is co-owner of the Bormida y Yanzon studio, specializing in wine cellars. Between 1988 and today, the studio has built more than 30 wineries in Argentina, Brazil and Uruguay, which have been featured in national and international media and several have received awards. Her experience comes from the professional practice as well as from university teaching and research. She is Professor Emeritus of the University of Mendoza, where she was Professor of History of Architecture and Urbanism (1973 - 2005) and founder and director of the Institute of Architectural and Urban Culture.
