The Kwok family have had a lot to celebrate recently. 2022 was the 25th Bordeaux vintage for owner Peter Kwok, their Chateau Tour Saint Christophe entered the famous Saint Emilion Classification, Emmanuelle Fulchi d’Aligny joined the team as technical director after 25 years at prestigious neighbour Château Angélus and, of course, they won the regional Best of Wine Tourism for accommodation at Château Bellefont-Belcier.
Gala in Mendoza to award the excellence in wine tourism
The Ministry of Culture and Tourism and the Great Wine Capitals (GWC) awarded local companies that stand out in excellence, good practices and innovation in wine tourism. The gala took place yesterday, Tuesday, September 12th, at the Angel Bustelo Auditorium. Mendoza is part of the Great Wine Capitals Global Network since 2005 and there were 40 applications in this edition. The gold winners of the Best Of Mendoza’s Wine Tourism 2024, this year will compete, on October 26, in the city of Lausanne, Switzerland, for the international award at the GWC Annual Assembly.
