“Mainz meets France” – this special connection between German indulgence and the French way of life is created by restaurateur Murielle Stadelmann at Weinhaus Bluhm.
Her regional and international specialities are complemented with outstanding wines from the region and a flamboyant programme of culture and music with her own art exhibitions.
Weinhaus Bluhm is a long-standing institution with its very own place in local wine history – it has been around in Mainz’s old town for 300 years. The half-timbered house is steeped in history, not only as one of the city’s oldest wine houses, but also as one of its most important wine tourism sites – and a cultural experience! That’s why the jury has presented Weinhaus Bluhm with the “Art and Culture” award.
