At Weingut Manz, special architecture meets special wine. The wine shop – with its 67-degree inclined external wall – creates a connection between the vineyard and winery.
The contrast between the black facade and the light natural stone is modern and timeless. Inside, concrete and wood with gold and black accents create an elegant atmosphere for wine tastings and events. The wine shop’s most outstanding feature is its set of panoramic windows, offering a unique view of the vineyards of Rheinhessen.
The jury sees it as one of the region’s top attractions, which is why it has presented a second award in the “Architecture, Parks and Gardens” category, here with an emphasis on architecture.
