Quinta Nova de Nossa Senhora do Carmo extends over 120 hectares of land, referenced since the first Pombaline demarcation in 1756. Harmoniously integrated into one of the property’s hills is the original winery, dating from 1764, and the 19th century manor house with the chapel (1795). It was the first quinta in the Douro to open its wine tourism project in 2005, including a store, a reception center and a wine hotel. Since the opening of this space, the “art de vivre” has been celebrated here, in a permanent commitment to excellent service and the memorable experience it offers all visitors.
