Le Agriesperienze – Ticino

Lausanne | Switzerland

The agri-experiences were created to promote the wine, food, landscape and cultural heritage of the Ticino region. These are simple, authentic experiences that follow the seasons and the rhythm of nature : they range from the participatory harvesting of vegetables or fruit (grape harvest) to discovering the production process (wine-making, cheese-making), as well as a visit to a company to find out more about and understand the day-to-day reality of a cellar or winery or farm. The highlight is tasting the excellent food and wine produced: a plate of polenta, charcuterie and cheese accompanied by a selection of house wines to discover the flavours of Ticino’s culinary and wine specialities. The added value of this offer is provided by guests are accompanied by a professional tourist guide who, thanks to his knowledge of the area the region in its entirety, taking guests to places of cultural and tourist interest off the beaten track. The route to the agri-experience site (by bike, public transport or on foot) thus becomes an integral part of the programme, to meet the growing demand for sustainable experiences.

The seven proposals can be customised to suit the clientele (tourists, companies, groups of friends, families). Agri-experiences can be booked online, on specific dates, or on request. Each agri-experience is available in Italian and at least one other national language in addition to English. The agri-experiences offer seven itineraries through Ticino, with different activities and timetables.

Gastronomy, craftsmanship, architecture, culture, landscapes… the perfect combination for quality wine tourism to suit all tastes!
