Their Ride With A Winemaker cycling program is a collaboration between Ted Osborne and Gerardo Capiel. Gerardo is a successful three-time technology entrepreneur who was last a product leader at Google. After moving to Calistoga in 2020, he discovered its world-class cycling routes and was so enamored by the region and the craft of winemaking that he got a WSET certification and founded Vine Trail Adventures.
Ted, with nearly thirty years of winemaking expertise spanning four continents, brings an insider’s perspective to the tour. His journey, from crafting wines at renowned Napa estates, such as Cakebread Cellars and Storybook Mountain, to establishing his Olabisi Winery with his wife Kim, as well as consulting for numerous estates, reflects a dedication to producing exceptional wines and sharing his love for the craft.
