Nestled in the heart of the Lafaurie-Peyraguey vineyard, the LALIQUE Restaurant, the first-ever Michelin-starred restaurant in the Sauternes region, is a must-see gastronomic stopover. Its brilliant chef Jérôme Schilling uses wine-growing techniques to enhance his cuisine, such as the turbot steamed between two barrel staves used for maturing Sauternes – a perfect example of synergy between the chef’s cuisine and the Premier Grand Cru Classé. The wine list is extensive, with a selection of 2600 references. The restaurant, with a modern glass extension designed by Mario Botti, is a setting of sparkling crystal and light, opening onto the vineyard. Its ceiling is decorated with 120 Champs-Elysées leaves in gleaming gold crystal… A delight for the taste buds as well as the eyes.
