At Château De la Dauphine, visitors can immerse themselves in the French way of life by climbing aboard a legendary Citroën 2 CV! The “Heritage Tour” starts in the park of the property, with a guide who will give you an insight into the history of the property and Fronsac. You will then head into the vineyards, followed by a visit to the fishing hut “carrelet” on the Dordogne River and the truffle orchard of La Dauphine. The journey concludes with a hilltop tasting of the 3 wines accompanied by local delicacies. Lamprey, truffle butter or dried duck breast, Basque sheep’s milk cheese and cannelé pastries will no longer hold any secrets for you! An innovative and original discovery of Fronsac’s heritage.
