In a renovated place, surrounded by our notable vines with a gastronomic proposal of origin, a new store and first-class experiences, Casa Valle Viñamar was re open, in a new concept that seeks to provide all wine lovers a place to enjoy and connect with our natural environment.
Into Casablanca, 60 minutes from the capital and 30 minutes from Valparaíso, there is a place in the middle of the country side with a new concept of harmony and disconnection, which seeks to reach all wine and sparkling wine lovers; we refer to Casa Valle Viñamar; a beautiful Moroccan-style house that invites you to enjoy a gastronomic proposal of origin, an exclusive store and other unique experiences.
With an impressive view from Route 68 that connects Santiago-Valparaíso at km 72, the spacious and bright two-story house that emulates the Vergara Palace in the city of Viña del Mar, amazes from the first moment with its water mirror and large gardens, surrounded by vineyards where the Sauvignon Blanc, Chardonnay, Pinot Noir and Pinot Gris strains are produced.
Those vines are in themselves a visual experience, which continues when entering through its spectacular entrance hall, giving way to the elegant lounge with a lapis lazuli fireplace and its English-style VIP bar to finish admiring the beauty of the surroundings from the terrace where you can delight in the best gastronomy of the Macerado restaurant.
Chef Carlos Gonzalez surprises with his original cuisine focused one hundred percent on the product and the organic garden. “Our idea is to support local producers and technically we care about the texture, flavor and presentation, rescuing Chilean family cuisine and bringing it to haute cuisine.”
But that’s not all, Casa Valle Viñamar, recognized for its wide range of sparkling wines. responds to their sustainable practices that, although they have been doing it for years, are now becoming more relevant since they incorporate the community, entrepreneurs in the area and also their peers, to promote wine tourism, taking care of the environment and the terroir, where collaborative and associative work is essential to promote tourism in the Valparaíso region.
We highlight the organic garden that has a wide variety of plants, herbs and flowers that are used in the Macerado restaurant and that in 2019 they expanded with new and more species that are added to the store opened in May with wines from various valleys, labels and strains, in addition to the signature wines of the “Casablanca Off” group, which brings together small boutique wineries in the valley, in addition to the sale of organic and artisanal products from the sector.
This sustained work with the community and local development earned them First Place nationally and internationally in the “Sustainable Wine Tourism Practices” category of the “Best of Wine Tourism 2020” Awards, awarded by the Great Wine global network. Capitals – which rewards wineries and wine tourism organizations from each member city that have distinguished themselves in terms of excellence – held in November 2019 in Bordeaux, France.
