Villa Cipolla Pieropan Wine Relais is a 16th-century Venetian villa which has been meticulously restored, blending the modern essentials with a stylistic recovery that evokes the grandeur of historic Venetian residences. It was recently awarded the Best of Wine Tourism 2025 in the Accomodation category for its unique ability to create a refined and elegant environment where guests can experience a deep love for architecture, design, and fine wine.
The Pieropan family’s winemaking heritage began in 1880 with Leonildo Pieropan, whose legacy was later expanded by his namesake grandson Nino in the 1970s and 1980s. Today, the fourth generation of the Pieropan family continues to produce wines that express the unique terroir of Valpolicella while offering a truly exceptional guest experience at Villa Cipolla.
The villa’s location, in the Tregnago area at the foot of the Lessini Mountains, offers guests easy access to the charming medieval village of Soave, the historic city of Verona, and the stunning landscapes of the Lessinia Natural Park. The Valpolicella wine region is a paradise for wine lovers and nature enthusiasts alike, with an abundance of hiking trails and scenic views.
Surrounded by lush gardens and centuriesold trees, the villa offers an idyllic environment for relaxation. Guests can enjoy peaceful walks in the park, sip an aperitif while soaking in the beauty of the landscape, or simply unwind in the tranquility of the estate.

At Villa Cipolla Pieropan, since the early 2000s, the main wine produced has been Amarone della Valpolicella, a rich and full-bodied red wine made from dried grapes. The family’s commitment to sustainable viticulture and artisanal winemaking ensures that each bottle reflects the unique terroir of the Valpolicella region. However, our main wine production has always focused on Soave Classico, a white wine that represents the historical soul of our company, founded back in 1880. With 75 hectares of vineyards divided between the valleys of Soave and Illasi, Pieropan produces exceptional wines from indigenous grape varieties, expertly enhancing and interpreting what this land offers. Guests can experience both of these iconic wines through exclusive tastings, discovering the depth and complexity of each, as well as other regional varieties.
