Prior to Auro, Chef Garcia held pivotal roles at The Commissary and Spruce in San Francisco, where he earned Michelin stars in 2018 and 2019, as well as several iconic Napa Valley establishments. Garcia held titles including chef de partie at three-Michelin-starred The French Laundry in Yountville, executive sous chef at Calistoga Ranch, and executive chef at Angèle in Downtown Napa. Additionally, he is an alumnus of Bravo’s Top Chef Season 15 and the author of an upcoming cookbook, Convivir: Modern Mexican Cooking in California’s Wine Country.
Under Chef Garcia’s direction, Auro offers seasonally driven northern Californian cuisine, championing global culinary techniques that pair with world-class local wines. Four Seasons’ menu represents Napa’s local ingredients

Auro received its first Michelin star—one of the culinary industry’s highest recognitions—as part of the 2023 Michelin Guide California, making it the first Michelin-starred restaurant in Calistoga, California.
