The d’Arenberg Cube is an iconic, award-winning architectural puzzle, where guests can relax, have fun and soak in the stunning views. The five storey multi-function centre and tourism destination, designed by Chester Osborn, was inspired by the complexities and puzzles of winemaking. Each level has been carefully designed to challenge convention, enticing each of the senses with a combination of installations, interactive experiences and immersive video content. Customers are absorbed into a world of wine offering them an innovative and exciting wine tourism experience.
Innovations include an interactive 3D hologram of the McLaren Vale wine region; Australia’s first commercially used 3D food printer; a smartphone app that allows guests to guide themselves around the d’Arenberg property; an augmented reality app allowing the wine labels to come to life.
