Villa Spinosa is located in the heart of the Valpolicella Classica, at the foot of the Colle Masua hill in Negrar. The 19th century villa, built on a panoramic position on the high ground of Jago, is adorned with a romantic Italian style garden, borded by a courtyard and the estate’s vineyards. The Villa Spinosa winery produces the traditional wines of the Valpolicella. The most precious parts of the Villa Spinosa estate, are the Jago, Figari and Costa del Buso cru vineyards. These 20 hectares of land, located at an elevation between 230 and 423m, are planted with Corvina, Corvinone and Rondinella vines. The meticulous care of the vineyards, attentive drying of the grapes in the fruit drying loft and experience in wine-making, are the foundations for the high quality of the Valpolicella wines produced by Villa Spinosa. In the 19th century cellars, between the thick tuft walls and terracotta tiled floors, the wines are aged in tonneaux and large oak casks. The estate’s products are available to taste and purchase from the Enoteca in Tinaia, Villa Spinosa’s on-site wine shop. Corte Spinosa, a farmhouse that has been converted into comfortable accommodation, welcomes tourists looking to unite their passion for wine with the culture, uniqueness and beauty of the area offering guests wine tastings as well as visits to the vineyards and cellars. Villa Spinosa is an elegant backdrop that, thanks to its charm and versatility, offers a vast range of spaces to host weddings, events and cultural events.
