Itinera Bike & Travel was founded in 2009 to organize active, slow and conscious vacations. It is based in the center of Verona, where it also has the rental point: a fleet of about 100 hybrid bikes, e-bikes and gravel bikes. Itinera Bike & Travel offers the best bike tours in the large area around Verona (Lake Garda, Valpolicella, Veneto) and all services for the bike tourist (sport or leisure): route planning, luggage transport, expert tour leaders, organization of tastings and winery visits.
Among the options offered there is the chance to cycle through the vineyards and taste the wine of the Valpolicella Classica: an area of small villages, cultivated fields, and neat rows of vines. While discovering the best panoramic viewpoints, you’ll pass by charming villas, ancient olive trees, and dry-stone walls, cycling partly on bike paths and partly on secondary roads. The ride concludes at a winery where, after a tour and explanation of the winemaking process, you’ll have the opportunity to taste 6 wines (including 2 Amarone), accompanied by local high-quality products, followed by a shorter return trip to the city center.
