Terrazas de los Andes maintains a special connection with the mountains thus is committed to preserving their fragile ecosystem.
As Guardians of Mountain Life, they protect its precious natural resources, conserve the pristine water from glaciers, mitigate climate impact, and engage with Andean communities.
Their 550 hectares are managed with regenerative methods to preserve the soil and biodiversity while safeguarding water with 100% drip irrigation with precision technology.
As part of their action plan to reduce our global carbon footprint, 95% of the bottles produced are now lightweight (<400 gr). That helped them reduced CO2 emissions by nearly a quarter (-24%) in their strategic Reserva Malbec wine.
Terrazas de los Andes believes that educating younger generations is a great opportunity to build a better future. For over 20 years, they have developed and implemented 7 educational programs in schools near the winery and vineyards, reaching more than 4,000 children per year.
Their employees are the heart of their mission. By fostering an interdependent Safety Culture, offering continuous soft and technical skills training, and providing scholarships for employees and their families, Terrazas aim to create a positive environment for personal development.
