Casablanca Valley’s Wine Route

The Valparaiso-Casablanca valley has very good connectivity between its vineyards, you can travel along the bike paths between each vineyard or you can take public/private transportation to reach the vineyards, which are easily accessible.

Just an hour from Santiago and Valparaiso, the Casablanca Valley presents itself as an idyllic destination for those who want to combine their love of wine with outdoor adventure. Known for its Sauvignon Blanc, Chardonnay, and Pinot Noir, the valley has also gained recognition as a cyclist’s paradise, thanks to its captivating routes and connectivity.

”The interconnectivity between the various vineyards of the Casablanca Valley stands out for its accessibility and proximity, facilitated by an infrastructure that includes well-maintained cycle paths. This allows visitors to move comfortably between the vineyards enjoying the landscape and the natural environment without having to make long journeys by vehicle, promoting sustainable and accessible tourism” says Mario Agliati, President of the Association of Wine Entrepreneurs of the Casablanca Valley.

The region’s infrastructure facilitates access between vineyards, allowing cyclists to enjoy multiple wineries in a single day.

For those coming from Santiago or Valparaiso, Route 68 offers a quick trip to the heart of the valley, while buses from both cities make it easy for those who prefer not to drive. Once in Casablanca, renting a bike is a good option and opens up a world of possibilities to discover the valley at your own pace.

The valley’s proximity to two major cities makes Casablanca a perfect getaway for a day or a weekend. Here, every visit to a vineyard is more than just a tasting; It is an immersion in the culture and landscape that define this unique region. In a world that increasingly values authentic experiences, the Casablanca Valley offers exactly that: a mix of wine, nature and adventure.
