Church Rd has been Qualmark certified gold for over 15 years with a sustainability programme that encompasses their people, their responsible hosting, their terroir and their circular economy. Guests to the winery can take themselves on a self-guided walk around the property teaching them about Tiaki Promise and the sustainability values of Church Road. The cellar door tastings are now done via an iPad, so they have been able to become virtually paperless in their standard tastings and they have become one of the first to pass global certification in responsible hosting. Church Road is also involved in a native Dab Chick conservation programme and biodiversity plantings.
