Romantic Retreat in Verona: Hidden Gems Away from the City Hustle

In Verona, where everything exudes romance, you can escape far from the city lights and traffic. Among cypress trees, hills, and Renaissance gems, this city in the Veneto region is the perfect place for a relaxing love weekend.
Borgo Romantico: a Country Relais between Wine and Romance

In Cavaion Veronese, the heart of a landscape crowned by cypresses, vines and olive trees 6 km from Lake Garda, stands Borgo Romantico: a newly designed Country Wine Relais, 100% green energy, with organic farming since 2012 and great attention to the environment and to the person.

An enchanting avenue of olive trees leads to the early 19th century rural dwelling, carefully restored, where you will begin a journey to discover simple but true experiences: a romantic landscape savored slowly with a good glass of wine, listening to beautiful music, free to dream or be guided by our experts.Borgo Romantico

The interiors are enhanced by an art gallery featuring the photographic works of Franco, the founder. The theme of the works is always people and the countryside. On the other hand, if you are fond of music, nature and the outdoors, the experience of Silvano, the director, can be useful for you to discover events and routes to be known by any means.

A Borgo capable of being “Romantic” with the breakfast served in front of the vineyards, the swimming pool among the olive trees at sunset, or with tailor-made proposals, such as the “Romantic Welcome in the Room,” the “Romantic Aperitif in the Park,” the “Honeymoon Room,” the “Jazz or Opera Music evenings”.

Villa Della Torre: Wine – alongside History, Art and Architecture, and Nature

Spending a weekend at Villa Della Torre is a fully immersive experience in one of the rarest and most precious jewels of the Italian Renaissance and in the Great Beauty embodied by Italian culture all over the world. Created by the masters Giulio Romano and Michele Sanmicheli, who designed it according to the ancient model of the Roman domus, the Villa has been owned since 2008 by the Mastella Allegrini family, who have restored it with great love and dedication.

Villa Della Torre

In addition to being the headquarters of the family-based Marilisa Allegrini Group, an international benchmark in Italian wine, Villa Della Torre now houses an Art&Wine Relais with ten elegant and refined luxury rooms. A guided tour of the Villa enables visitors to discover its uniqueness and charm while a sunset walk in the surrounding ‘winescape’ with a wine tasting finale is a special way to discover the unique power of the combination of nature and art.

The experience continues in the wonderful rooms inside the Villa where it is possible to dine by candlelight, admiring the four huge Mascaron Fireplaces (depicting a Lion, Unicorn, Devil and Angel). The Villa articulates a love and passion for beauty, making it the ideal setting for a romantic occasion and a truly unique place in the history of architecture and the world of wine lovers.
