Cockburn’s warehouse is the largest in the entire historic quarter of Vila Nova de Gaia, housing 6,518 barrels of Port Wine that age under its enormous roof.
Visitors will be able to see the work of coopers repairing casks, using the same techniques and tools that their ancestors used over the centuries, in the last cooperage operating in the Port Wine cellars.
Those who visit Cockburn’s Cellars also have the opportunity to enjoy a picnic on the patio, as well as tastings paired with the best complements for each wine.
