When one considers the lay of the land, it’s no wonder that its architecture catches the eye of all who set foot inside the property. The iconic Octagonal Garden is the centrepiece of Vergelegen, and opens up towards its various other beautifully coiffed landscapes and gardens – including the historic Camphor Forest, the Reflection Garden with its two ponds that create a formal entrance to the Camphors restaurant, the Sundial Garden aligned to complement Stables and the Wine Tasting Centre, and the Fynbos Garden with 360 degree views of the surrounding mountains and valleys.
