Caves Offley

Regional Winner - Innovative Wine Tourism Experiences - Porto

Slightly set back from the bustling riverfront of Vila Nova de Gaia, the Offley Cellars are a traditional setting in which to enjoy a couple of glasses of top quality Porto Wine. It still takes inspiration from the Baron Joseph James Forrester, the first person to map the Douro Valley and a legendary figure that is still central to what Offley represents, since 1737. Today, a welcoming team will guide you through the rustic stacks of barrels and casks, with the gentle waft of the wine ageing inside them. The quiet, calm and relaxed tasting room is a great place to spend a hot afternoon.
